Restaurant Jobs
Boston Market
Teenagers can work here as servers, cashiers and carvers!

Burger King
If you are at least above 15 years of age, you can become a team member. Things that you will be doing are take orders and payment, resolve problems, cleaning the restaurant and parking lot, and stocking inventory. The occupations here, are the same as for McDonalds. You can be a Cook, Fry Cook, Cashier, and if you are experienced, a Shift Manager. You might want to be a cashier, although it is hectic, you are only cashing out, answering questions about what is in the food, and wiping tables. Some positions include cleaning the bathrooms and taking out heavy garbage.

Dunkin Donuts
You can start your first teen job assignment here as a cashier, server or sales associate. As a cashier, you take orders and cash and stand all day. Server positions involve preparing coffee, serving donuts, making cream, and stocking sugar and milk. You will take turns cleaning, and taking out trash. Some stores let you take home leftovers at the end of the night. Here is a more in-depth look at jobs for teens at Dunkin Donuts.
At Dunkin, you can work as a crew member, shift leader, assistant manager and restaurant manager. Job duties entail collecting payments, serving customers, preparing coffee products, serving food, operating equipment, restocking inventory and cleaning.

Customer service, communication, and problem solving are the core competencies that an interviewer will require of an applicant. Shift leaders coach crew members while conveying company policies and procedures. They also provide evaluation of crew member performance.

If you want to be an Assistant Manager, you only need a high school diploma. You will be responsible for the cash register and for the smooth operation of the shop. Dunkin Donuts careers in Management are similar to most manager jobs. The employee is expected to ensure customer satisfaction, keep operations moving quickly, recruit, interview and train associates, perform administrative duties in inventory, ordering, and scheduling, maintain budgets, and be available at all hours.

Donut shop jobs are demanding but the good news is that there are a lot of open positions.

Jack in the Box
This fast food place hires crew members.
Jack in the Box is a fast-food restaurant which offers an American version of ethnic cuisine – such as egg rolls and tacos, along with breakfast burritos in over 2,200 locations, primarily serving the West Coast of the United States. Jack in the Box also operates the Qdoba Mexican Grill chain.

KFC
There are various jobs here just as at other restaurants where teenagers are hired. You can cook, take orders or manage. KFC is owned by Yum! Brands Corporation along with Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. As such, an employee working for this company will find a professional organization with room for advancement. Crew member jobs are excellent first job opportunities for teens. The pay might be low, the benefits few, the smell of food tiresome, and the customers sometimes rude, but the learning experience is worth it. The KFC employee performs various functions and learns the front as well as the back end operations of a restaurant. He or she can learn to cook chicken, prepare sandwiches and wraps, operate cash terminals, and work with the public.

Being able to do several things at once is important to success in a restaurant. Team members work together to fill customer orders in an efficient manner. Employees often form long lasting friendships with each other. Prior experience is usually not necessary. Job training is done in person on the job and over the Internet. Managers look for job candidates who possess a good attitude, strong work ethic, and flexible work availability. Employees must be 16 years old and older and are subject to the requirements put forth by the company and by the individual franchise owners.

Little Caesars
If you are looking for a Little Caesars application, you will need to go to your local restaurant and apply.   Before you go to the restaurant, become familiar with job titles. 16 year olds and older can apply to be a crew member. Crew members prepare food and provide customer service. If you are 18 years old and older, you can consider a Shift Leader position. You can also be an Assistant Manager or Manager where you will be responsible for restaurant sales, operations and profitability. These opportunities to work in a pizza restaurant are nationwide. If you are going to fill out a Little Caesars form, you should also be familiar with the company history. The organization was formed by the Ilith family over 50 years ago. Little Caesars is famous for their Crazy Bread, Conveyer Oven, and double pizza deals called "Pizza Pizza". Some of their stores are franchises, owned by entrepreneurs.

McDonalds
This is the first place adolescents think of when heading out to fill job applications. The job description of a crew member includes tasks such as frying food, grilling food, taking orders, cleaning, serving food and standing on your feet for up to 8 hours a day. There are day shifts, early morning shifts and even overnight shifts. Get a McDonald's job application online at this webpage: http://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en/careers.html Go to the website, choose your state and decide if you want a job with the Crew, Management, or Support (maintenance).

When you go to the McDonald's interview, get there early, be prepared with facts about the company, dress professionally, and explain why you want to work there.  You might say that you like to work on a team, and that you love living near to your job.  Another good reason to work there is that management training can count up to 46 credit hours toward your college degree.  The company also offers scholarships and tuition assistance and a flexible schedule.

Many teens work at McDonalds because they can work after school and during the summer.  These jobs create great resume experience and they foster leadership and management skills. Some people make McDonalds their life time career.  There is room for advancement and the best part is that the organization will provide full training.  Once you are trained, you can work at any restaurant after that. If you are really serious about the food business, you can open your own place or franchise.  The restaurant industry is competitive but if you know how to run an eatery, then you will be successful.

Pizza Hut
Pizza Hut jobs are frequently posted on job boards. Teens can apply if they are 16 years old and older. However, only 18 year olds can be drivers. Titles at this restaurant company include Driver, Team Member, Server, Waitress and Cook. If you like to consume pizza, you should apply to cook. Some restaurants let you take pizza home, or eat incorrectly made orders. In the a.m. shift you will prepare dough, compile ingredients and make pizzas for the refrigerator. In the p.m. shift, you will put ingredients back and clean pans, counters, tables and floors.

Requirements to apply are: Pizza Hut does all of the training, but they do want employees that have a happy attitude and good communication skills. You might have to take a short online test to become qualified to interview. After you are hired, you will take online training modules.

Reviews: There seems to be great reviews about working at Pizza Hut on Indeed. http://www.indeed.com/cmp/Pizza-Hut/reviews People say that time goes fast, advancement to higher titles comes quickly, free food is tasty, and management is good. Employees are also grateful to learn customer service skills that they can bring to their next job.

Wendys
If you are 16 years old and older, and want to work for Wendys, this short review should help you. It includes inside tips.

1. Apply to Wendy's jobs here: https://www.wendys.com/en-us/careers

2. Learn what it is like to work at Wendy's. The employee has to make sandwiches with the ingredients in the correct order and with any modifications requested by the customer. Corrections need to be made fast. You may be timed on food preparation. Buns are toasted and that takes time. Salads are compiled by hand. Vegetables are chopped fresh in the morning. Besides sandwiches and salads, you will need to know how to prepare beverages. After time, you will become faster at your job with practice. You need to be flexible! Your manager or supervisor can send you from one task to another.

3. Benefits of working at Wendy's are employees learn patience, memory skills, tolerance, speed, team work, stress management, and self-direction. Employees also enjoy discounted prices for food and the friendships that they form. Workers leave Wendy's knowing how to use a cash register, count money, multi-task, monitor inventory, and manage customers. Crew members who stay long-term, can advance to Shift Managers and General Managers. The company gets involved in community events.

4. Cons reported by past employees are that breaks are short, there are little or no benefits, grease gets on you, and you might not get all the hours that you want. If you operate the register, be careful to give correct change, or you will face consequences. Additionally, the fast pace is not for everyone. Wendy's, like all jobs has pros and cons. However, if this is your first job, you will probably look upon it fondly and proudly. If you can survive the pace, the customers, the hours and the management, you probably can work anywhere.
